Sunshine State Reader

Last updated: June 2, 2026

The Sunshine State Reader app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information from its users.

All reading progress, settings, and achievements are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer.

Website Analytics

This website (sunshinestatereader.com) uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate visitor activity — such as how many people visit and which pages are viewed. Google Analytics collects standard technical information including your approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and the pages you visit. This applies only to the website and is entirely separate from the app, which still collects and transmits nothing.

Analytics on this site is configured for internal operations only: it is not used for advertising, ad personalization, or cross-site/cross-app tracking, and we do not sell or share this data. You can opt out using your browser's privacy settings, by blocking cookies, or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

External Links

The app contains links to Amazon and WorldCat (library search). These links open in your device's default web browser. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. All external links require a parent/guardian verification step before opening.

Children's Privacy

The app is designed to be used by children under parental supervision and collects no information from anyone. The website's analytics is limited to the internal-operations purposes described above — it does not build advertising profiles and is not used to knowingly identify individual children.
